John Ondrasik (Five For Fighting)...  is absolutely amazing.  I've enjoyed his music for quite some time now.  I didn't realize there was no thread for Five For Fighting so here it is.  John is the only member of Five For Fighting

Anyway, maybe ya'll have heard the new song on the radio "100 years"... its so beautiful.

There's only one!? How weird- it changes my perspective! I have liked them for as long as i have had the Dawson's Creek soundtrack because 'Superman' is on there and i adore it.  100 years is really good aswell.

Yeah, I know what ya mean.  The piano and all.. and the video with him playing the piano outside... kinda atm-ish in a way (atleast to me) lol

I saw Five For Fighting in Hollywood, Fl at the Y-100 radio show in like 2001. It was two dudes and they were good. I was digging it.

I saw John on a talk show a few weeks ago and he said he was studying to be a brain surgeon or nuclear physists (sorry can't spell today) or something along those lines.

They played the new single on "Joan of Arcadia" tonight.

I like the tunes from these guys. I used to have their cd that came out before the superman song. It came out around 1995 or 1996 I think.

I can play "100 Years" on the piano. It's pretty easy, until you get to the chorus.  :)

Dude, it doesn't even matter. I have both of his CDs. Actually, there's three, but I've never seen the third one in stores. It's like Vanessa Carlton's "Rinse" only you can buy it off Amazon. Don't even worry about the fact that those two songs aren't on the same CD. They're both amazing. Jon is truly the male version of Vanessa. Forget Ben Jelen. He's crap.
