You’re too busy doing your own thing
You don’t even answer my calls anymore
You just leave me to hang

Well I’m sick of being your little birdie
Stuck in a cage
I think it’s time I flew away and started over
Turned a new page…

I’m breaking out
Running away from these bars that surround me
I’m flying free

You’ve kept me under lock and key
Never even let me taste the world outside
You’ve kept me handcuffed and blindfolded
