Wanting Out
« on: September 12, 2003, 03:16:56 am »
One of my latest "creations"...

Wanting Out

I’m tired of being here
I’m tired of feeling down
I’m tired of feeling like this
And I’m wanting out

No one to talk to
All my “friends” are too busy
No shoulder to cry on
So I’m sitting here alone drinking coffee

My head won’t stop aching
I’m spinning round and round
The tears won’t stop falling
I’m breaking down…down…

And I’m wanting out
Wanting to get away from here
I’m wanting out
Wanting to get away from here
Wanting out…

Staring out the window
Watching the pouring rain
How many times have I been here before?
How many times will I be here again?

Switch on the TV
Everything starts to spin
How many days have I woken up to this?
How long has it been?

My head won’t stop aching
I’m spinning round and round
The tears won’t stop falling
I’m breaking down…down…

And I’m wanting out
Wanting to get away from here
I’m wanting out
Wanting to get away from here
Wanting out…

I’m wanting out

this is sad, like most of them, but angry too. I like it Tia.
