I recommend...A Book.
« on: June 28, 2004, 07:12:17 am »
Now listen up. This is my very good friend, Ted, aka Scary Ted. I met him probably 3 years ago, since then he had become a overnight DJ at the local pop station, then recently he moved over to local rock station. His second published book is called "The Lights of Rosemary Sound." I was lucky to get some previews of this book before it was finished, and I'm not normally much of a reader, but this book sounded awesome!

CHECK IT OUT!!

From the Publisher
Ted Hedden, radio personality, screenwriter, poet and now novelist, brings to you his first extended piece of pure literary prowess, in The Lights of Rosemary Sound. Ted finished this novel in the year 2000, when he was 19 years old. His writing style is a pure and unique first person that will actually take you back to 1918 itself. His influences as a writer range from George Orwell to fellow southern writers William Faulkner and Nicholas Sparks. The Lights of Rosemary Sound actually took its shape during one of Ted's college government courses. Ted was working on his first novel while his instructor thought he was busy taking notes. The Lights of Rosemary Sound starts in 1918, Davenport, Maine, as Patrick Hammett returns from the first great war. He finds himself struggling both with the loss of loved ones and also with learning how to live and love again. The Lights of Rosemary Sound is a beautiful epic about one man's journey to both live and love again.
