Viruses?  Nooo....you're thinking of Kazaa.

I've been using LimeWire for the past 6 months and all I can say is I have had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever.  NO advertisements, no viruses, no pop-ups, no crap, no nothing.

I remember I had used Kazaa for quite a while on my old comp--it was horrible.  A lot of pop-up ads, banner ads, and other crap.  PLus it reaaaaaaaaaally slowed down my comp.

LimeWire is good, you gotta download it!

The program itself, to my knowledge, shouldn't be illegal; however, downloading anything that's copyrighted technically is, and with the RIAA breathing down everyone's necks, I think your parents are probably right there...

I know that Kazaa will give you spyware, and I assume that it would be the same with Limewire...so no, I don't think it will give you viruses, but it will give you spyware, which slows down your computer and is just an annoying little b10tch.

Viruses? Always. Illegal, probably.

I used to download it and my computer would fuck. So I'd reformat, download it, my computer'd fuck, etc. Then I caught on. :P
