lol. hey guys. I ABSOLUTELY love sixpence ntr. Leigh's voice is so nice :) heee. I'm sixpence ntr's Taiwan fan!!! heee i guess i'm the only one. i haven't met any others, and there doesn't seem to be any fan club in taiwan, but their album "divine discontent" is doing so well in Taiwan. In the US, the album came out in 2001, but it came out late 2002 in Taiwan. It's been on the Taiwan Western Album Top 10 for almost 5 months!!! :) I think that's really cool. I think their position now is no. 8. :) lotsa ppl love sixpence here, even linkin park's meteora is in a lower spot than sixpence ntr.

hey all sixpence ntr fans out there. i bought the album "divine discontent" and then i bought "breathe your name" (single) and it said that breathe your name was the single version and the album version was available on the album. Well, i listened to the two and i can't seem to find a difference. Does anyone know the difference? (Maybe sixpence's stupid label lied. grr to get ppl to buy their single)

The cd and the single version are the same.

I shall refrain from making any rants on here about this....
----------------------
Just after Evanescence dropped their 'Christian' tag, another woman fronted band is following suit. Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer tells Tom Lanham of the San Franscisco Examiner that she's really fed up with being pigeonholed by the press as "that Jesus band." She explained, "The Christian thing doesn't follow Creed or Lifehouse around, does it? It's so irritating -- in 80 percent of the articles written about us, 'Christian' is in there somewhere, often used sarcastically. It's always a banner, and we just don't wanna carry that around anymore." Nash added, "I was brought up Christian, and that's still what I claim and practice, but I don't even go to church, so I guess I'm going to hell. And I've also suffered severe doubt in my faith in the last couple of years, because of all the stuff that's gone on in the world. And a lot of my questions I don't think will ever be answered."

looks like these guys have decided to call it quits.

i never got into much of their stuff except what was on the radio, but now that they've broken up i'm somehow more interested.

I just heard that today too. Its disappointing, but Leigh will continue solo I'm sure so if that happens, I dont mind too much.

leigh has such a distinct voice --- i love it -- when you are in a movie or anywhere and you hear her voice you know its her - i like artists that stand out like that -- where you dont have to know the song but by the voice you know exactly who it is

It's so funny to hear her talk though! She is so cute/shy.  Like she belts out these songs, and then she is all shy.

The Sixpence soundtrack to uptown Girls entitled Charmed Life sounds very good.

thats not Sixpence, it's Leigh solo, which she'll be doing more of from now on.

They have a definative Greatest Hits coming out on Oct 26.
It'll have some of their old tracks too from before they went mainstream, I'm really excited about those cause I've never heard anything other than the self titled & Divine Discontent.

I love their song "Kiss Me".
I don't know much about them, but they make me feel all reminicent about years past... I like them. I should probably check their cd out.
