eh boy  :roll:  You guys ever have blend challenges here?  At my PF we do

I participate on tons of them, but I don't think there's a NEssaholics official blend challenge, I could start one if you guys wanted? I'd put out the first thread and make the awards and from then it goes on, what you guys think?

it worx like this:
everyone makes a blend, following the rules posted

 then when I get enough entries on the admission date, I make a thread with the voting, and u don't know who made each entry, you just vote by PM me (or whoever is hosting the blend challenge-after the 1st  is always the previous winner who hosts)the number of the blend u vote for

then you make a new thread for the winners for the challenge, the person hosting the challenge, makes the awards (for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and even more if you have enough votes), which are always graphics like this:


then the person who won 1st place starts a new challenge with the 3 new threads and all that

I think a blend challenge is a splendid idea!

Sounds great! But maybe we should just keep it to 1 thread for each challenge, otherwise we'll clutter the place up. Also, we could vote with a poll insted of having a judge?

^the reason why it doesn't clutter is because after a new thread(eg: voting thread) is made the previous one(enter thread) is  locked so in a couple of days, it's not even on the same page of the board

we could make 1 thread, but then no1 would be able to reply or it would get really messy and then when the winners thread came up, how would we congratulate them ? :S

the 3 threads thing ususally worx very well in most boards I go to, but I'm opened to ideas

I thought I'd start one, so Dora could participate , cuz the host usually doesn't participates in the challenge she/he is hosting, I'm waiting for the response of a mod though, to see how he sticky/lock thing for the thread is going to work :wink: without that we'd have to keep bumping a thread and THEN it would really be cluttered :roll:  :razz:
