Vanessa to sing back up on new Kimya Dawson album

OK... Personally.. Stephen and 3EB have enough singles, airtime, and name recognition to do this kinda stuff... I seriously think Vanessa needs to get back out into the public and focusing more mainstream...

i don't think nessa will...i mean yea she will have a new album and what not....but its like she lost focus on mainstream and us...she hasn't visited NH.com   (if she has she hasn't made it obvious)...and she use to post at the other board too, and it has become very few post by her...and i know she has to have some time to come online...i mean she has been off tour for months and only does random shows...she can't possibly be that busy.

I miss Vanessa's posts as well as getting to follow her on tour... :cry:

yeah, kimya said she (vanessa) was really super nice. so nice, in fact, that kimya scrapped the plan to play stephan jenkins' ass like bongos on the record: "and there was no way i was going to play his ass. we just recorded him and vanessa singing on some of my songs and she is sooo nice, i couldn't play her boyfriend's ass like a drum."

really scared lol. I just went to her website and totally NOT what I was expecting. She's coming to Nashville on Nov. 3rd. I might check her out just for the hell of it though. I'm still in shock lol

Ok I talked to Kimya today and she's really cool. She has some good ideas , I enjoyed talking to her a lot. She has some songs that are cool after I listened more! She said she was glad there was talk of her on Vanessa's board and she hoped it was nice! I said it was, because it mainly is.

Methinks that Vanessa sings on her song "Loose Lips"  on the chorus.  Which may I add, is a really funny song.  Very liberal, but very funny.
