Anyone good with digital imaging programs?

okay, i know how to make blends and stuff, but i would really love to learn how to make animations, and avatars. tutorial?

i want to learn how to make an image or blend "background-less" lmao i am not sure what the word is for that. like you see certain blends with parts of the background not there so you see whatever is behind it like this forum for example. i know this may sound really confusing but i am trying to make as much sense as possible. tutorial?

i would really love to learn some new affects and does anyone know where i could find some kick ass brushes or fonts?

anyone that can help i would appreciate it very very much! thank you!

Well, clicking those links I see tutorials for PSP 8 at least, so I'm not sure where you are looking...

As for the full programs, I couldn't tell you where to get them, and posting links to anywhere that would have those programs here on the public forum isn't allowed as far as I know.
