What do you all think?

Rose, the career hits leader, remains on baseball's ineligible list after admitting he bet on games while managing Cincinnati in the late 1980s. Unless commissioner Bud Selig reinstates him by late November, there is no plan by the Hall of Fame to place him on the 2006 ballot, which would be his final chance for consideration by the Baseball Writers' Association of America.

Do you think the Hall of Fame should finally induct him, or continue to ban him?

I see no relevance between his gambling and his accomplishments as a player and coach.

It's not like he took steroids or intentionally lost games (cause then he wouldn't have been a great coach).

Not letting him in the HoF is an ego thing.

I don't think it should keep him out of the Hall any more than if he sold drugs or managed a whorehouse.  And also, why would this be his last consideration for the ballot?

i believe a player can only be on the ballot a certain number of times...if he's not voted in before that, then his name gets removed
