show was good.  Got there early, met Ghisy and went to dinner.  Got back to the Bushnell a lil bit before the show started.  Cary Brothers is apparently one guy.  As in not two guys related by having the same mother.  Hah, new to me!  I was amused because my mother, who came to the show with me, started snoring during his performance.  I wanted to stick a pen in my eye.  Ouch.

Vanessa came on in a different dress from last tour (w00t), though I don't know if this is her current tour dress that she likes to wear to every show.  Ghisy will have to answer that, he went to some of the other shows, lol.  Anyways, she started with Papa, and it was obvious she was sick.  Which was sad, her voice wasn't as great as it normally is.  And then I figured she wouldn't sing Annie.  I am cursed, I will never see Annie performed live.  And so much for looking forward to Private Radio.  None of that either :(  During Wanted she stopped in the middle of the song and was like, I don't know if I can do it, Mark can I do it?  And everyone cheered and she sang the rest of the song.  Wreckage was shorter than normal I'm pretty sure, and I think she might have messed up some words at the beginning... though I might be crazy.

During ATM there were two people in the middle of the orchestra section that could have been drunk or something, but they stood up and started singing and dancing... Every time Vanessa said 'and i miss you...' they screamed back at her, 'no, I miss YOU!' and then the rest of the song they kept shouting 'stand up!  stand up!' to everyone around them.  The majority of the show's audience was comprised of little kids and old people.  The old people were all like hell no am I gonna stand, and the lil kids kept squirming like they didn't know what the hell to do.  Hah.

Awesome pic!!!!!!

Annie was on the original set list...

I thought for sure she was going to play it since she did in Boston.  I like her "Story teller" type of set, it does make the performance more intimate and personal.  You can tell she's having a lot of fun up there.  Thank you Vanessa!!!

Haha, yeah.  I thought it was kewl.  Even though its basically the same stories she tells every time, she went into a bit more detail, and they were still funny.

She met a LOT of little kids afterward, it was rather funny... and cute at the same time.  Haha, one little girl kept squealing, "I'll never wash my hand!" cuz I guess V touched it, lol.
