My Afterglow painting
« on: March 21, 2005, 04:26:34 pm »
In art we're going to paint what feel in a song. So I chose Afterglow. Im thinking going from dark blues in the sky to lighter blues, darker green to lighter green (sky and earth). The darker colors to lighter colors are in the theme of afterglow mean to be able to more on..."overcoming anchors" hehe. Also Im going to paint the moon in the lighter area (meaning there can be darker unhappier things happening in the good times) and a sun in the darker area (meaning good things can happen on bad days  And I was wondering if you guys had any other ideas that I can add :-) And yes of course when Im finished Ill post the painting :-)

BTW- would this be too confusing?
And if you don't believe me just put your hands on me
I see the dalai lama, I feel him blessing me

that sounds like an awesome assignment! i never took art in school, but ive always wanted to. i like how you described how you want to paint it. afterglow really conjures up a lot of imagery for me. nice choice hehe
All I have for the moment, is a song to pass the time
