My little niece, Kaitlyn Mary.
« on: August 27, 2006, 05:14:23 pm »
My 3 week old niece Kaitlyn, born 4th of august 2006 has just been diagnosed with meningitis

My sister Kathryn and her husband Lindsay took her to the ER at 12.00am this morning and they were told it was meningitis earlier on this morning.  I ask that you all keep her in your prayers.

Thanks a lot, all my great nessaholic friends.

Always. May God watch over her and protect her.

Aw, that baby is cute! Usually I think babies just look weird, but that baby is adorable. I'm sorry to hear she is sick, I will keep her in mind and I hope she gets better very soon!

Oh, that is so terrible.   I'll be sure to get her on our church's prayer list.  (I believe those work, even half a world away.) :)

Yeah she'll be okay...my sis was diagnosed with meningitis too but that was a couple of years ago...

If detected early it is curable...

all the best to her...

Meningitis is serious stuff, and it scares me every time I hear of it.  I've heard and read lots of happily ended stories about it, though, but recovery is long and slow.  We'll be with you and her! :D
