Now, I really want to go to NYC and check out all the sites and places... go to Nolita and then Ruby's in the afternoon, lol. Then maybe find the same spot where Irv, V and Victor sat on and be a little stalkerish... ha.

Last week we joined the Hollywood fun, recording parts for Vanessa Carlton's forthcoming studio album Heroes and Thieves at Ocean Way recording on Sunset Blvd.

The record is going to be a feast for the ears, Vanessa's passionate piano wizardry, fantastic voice and cool new songs are already sounding incredible pre-mix.
Hattie laid down harp on two songs and we sang backing vocals on some tunes including choir style on 'Hands on me' which is a stand out track amongst an album of self written, mature, impassioned performances.
Go Vanessa.

Jason Martineau is the Orchestrator of string arrangements by Stephan Jenkins and Vanessa Carlton for Vanessa's third album, "Heroes and Thieves", produced by Stephan Jenkins, to be released September 2007.

I think it looks great though!! It's very different from the Harmonium cover, which I LOVED, but it's still cool, still very Vanessa!
