I personally think the new cover should have smaller text (such that "Vanessa Carlton" fits between the edges of the artwork that the "V" and "on" covers up, and "Be not Nobody" is in smaller letters, and the cover art should be 12 inches across instead of 5½.

Yes, but wouldn't you agree that she's been cleaned up a bit too. Wouldn't you agree that Be not Nobody was released and not Rinse because Rinse is more her style (darker). The idea of "divide and conquer" too dark so we have "ordinary day". I do like the original more though.

she said something about something we were discussing i guess kinda about the cover - about how she loves art nuvous - (spell check aisle 4) and thats what her cover art is all about ----

i love it too!!!

i thougt that was cool i have some art nuvous pieces around my house!

I was refering to the original cover, not the Rinse album which has no cover.

I like the hair thing on the original...very bjork on her vespertien album cover..but the blue is icky in the original...so a combo of both.
