apparently doors are at 7:30 and Vanessa starts at 8:30
and it's sopposed to be an hour and a half to 2 hours...

which is good, i have to leave by 10:30ish to make sure I catch the bus back

can't wait!

I got tickets today for myself and some friends. Thanks for the details on the show info.. I need to catch a bus/train home as well.

I am sooo psyched.  How'd you find out the set details?

For me it's a glance
And a smile on your face
A touch of your hands

he says he thinks it's only Vanessa playing, so hopefully it is..

Well if you call and they say no cameras don't believe them cause they did that to me in June. I didn't bring it and they never even checked me. I was a little mad.

Alright tell me if I am wrong but is this vanessa's first performance since 10/27/2005: Wittenberg University - Springfield, OH.... that she is solo(main headline) , live, and it is open to the public?
Peace

Great, leave it to VC to schedule the one Thursday night when I actually have a gig!  :(  Haven't done a weeknight gig in YEARS.

Crap.

I'm sure everyone will report back.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going, just have to make sure I can get out of work an hour early so as to make it there on time.  Can't wait!

I'll most likely be bringing a camera.
I don't have any recording devices (besides my phone, which is horrible quality, and has a time limit), but I'm sure someone else who's going will cover that (please) :P

Yeah....got a gig with my Beatles band in NJ.  Gotta be honest, though, I'm not that psyched about more acoustic shows.  She has beaten them into the ground, and as a fan, I'm frustrated.  So many of these songs need a full band, and the ones that translate well with just piano and voice(like Private Radio) would tear the roof off with a band.

I'm assuming she has a good reason for no band the past couple of times.
Otherwise, it's just a shame.

I think the complete opposite...i like to hear the songs the way she originally wrote them which is just her and the piano....it would be nice to have an occasional full band performance...but i perfer the majority of the performances to be acoustic...

Yeah, I like the acoustic shows too. I hated it when she played that stupid keyboard during her Be Not Nobody era tour.
And it's bad news, baby it's bad news
It's just bad news, bad news, bad news
'Cause you're just damage control

Yeah, we'll all be portions for foxes.
