I'm not sure how to link it because it's a video on their player, but there is a 4min interview with Vanessa on abcnews.com's entertainment section (it will be on the top right hand corner of the screen).

She seems sad!! Maybe she felt awkward about the interview, but whenever she stops talking, her face just seems really sad. Hopefully I'm wrong as this should be an exciting time for her!

Yeah, idk how she was really feeling, I just know that if I wasn't already a fan I wouldn't have been too enticed to find out what the new song was because of that interview! It was sort of boring and she seemed distant! Maybe she was tired, like you said.

I think it's funny that her favorite artist of late is Bob Marley.

I have to say that Carlon has been far from slick on the promotional circuit this time, shes being herself and realizing that promotion is just that, promotion, she seems to dislike and have a little contempt for the promotional machine and circuit, but as we saw in the GIANT magazine interview, interviewers pick up on this, and if they feel like they arent treated well enough as people, they will bite back in their reports.

That said, anyone whos been watching WHATS THE BUZZ lately knows exactly why carlton looks pissed off.
The reporters clearly dont give a shit and read scripts.

Yeah, I just thought it was cool that she was the leading video on the player and she was getting promoted, even though the interviewer didn't really care... obviously someone cares enough to pay for it Go Irv.

Vanessa doesn't seem to like the promotion side of the business. She comes off very personal and likes to only share that side of herself in her songs.

She didn't seem very sad to me... more just distracted. I don't know about you, but when I go to a place I've never been, I tend to look around the room at certain things. Plus she could've just been focusing on what the reporter was saying  :razz:

I don't think she's sad either, maybe just tired, ANNOYED of the fake reporter. haha. Her laugh was annoying. And the way she "reported" the lines was annoynig. I bet vanessa's thinking "great now everyone's gonna switch the channel because of that crappy intro by the reporter" haha. Vanessa is soo down to earth! She should do more interviews that way more people notice her. Like with Norah Jones her interview with ...Katie Couric? I think reminded me to listen to her new album.
