My first attempt at creating an animated gif
« on: October 08, 2007, 01:13:57 pm »
It's in my signature. It's my first real attempt at creating an animated gif. Granted, it looks a little rubbish but i'm still adding and editing different features to it. It's slow to begin with but it gets faster after the first round.

This alone took me a good two hours because I had to change the different sizes from the video I ripped and edited, as well as setting transparency etc. The program i'm using [uLEAD Gif] doesn't allow you to change the properties of more than 1 frame, which is probably why it took so long. Either that, or I haven't worked out how to yet. The more I get used to it, the easier i'll find it. I'm just lacking in creativity to create something visually appealing.

K - here's my second attempt at making an animated gif [see sig]. I'm still new to this but I think I like this one more than my last. There are three frames in total - the video of Nessa running through behind the building [as seen in Pleased to Meet you] - that's at 60% transparency, the main border and the text. In the next couple of days, i'm actually going to incorporate a Nessa picture on the right that looks like this [see below] or if anyone can suggest a better one. Personally, I think the picture below would look really great - if I can just have her in the gif as oppose to her and the brick wall.

The picture is too large and I couldn't be assed to host it.
