I'm in love with Vanessa's Demo "faces" I love the lyrics, and her voice and how how she belts out the notes.

I like this.

I've only heard the rubbish quality recording, and she sounds terrible on it. It's amazing how far she has come, vocally.

it's reallllly starting to bother me how people keep saying Vanessa sounded "terrible" on her demo tape.

I personally love it.

Why is it bothering you? It's just an opinion, dude. I'm sorry if I offended you...

And her vocals on her demo songs (or at least two of them that I can remember) weren't that great. I'm not bashing her, It's just amazing to hear the vocal changes from the songs of her demo tape to the songs now. Her vocals have improved a million times since then.

Her voice has changed, it was really good in the beginning, but it just matured [i guess] so much over the years of her performing and recording. All i ask really shows it.

I think V's voice is still young and bright in this recording. Like my choir teacher says all the time, we sound like teenagers (even though we are) and sound so young, that we really have to darken our voices and imagine ourselves being 20 years older. V still has that bright voice but she managed to darken it over the years.
