This British singer/songwriter has already written some hit songs for other artists. Now she's released her own album Breathe in. There are some similarities with Vanessa; Lucie is also 24 years old and also started to play the piano very young. Check her out at: http://www.luciesilvas.com/.

I checked out a couple of tracks. She kind of sounds like old-school Mariah Carey without the broad vocal range. Not bad.  8)

I think The Game Is Won sounds so much like Christina Aguileras song "Singing My Song" from her last album, it's weird, but I really like her music. I love Nothing Else Matters.

I found out about her this weekend at a friend's on cable tv.
She's pretty cool, I'm listening to her album right now, it sounds nice.
I didn't know she was British though.

Just like the Regina Spektor thread I replied to earlier today; started by our
good NESSAholic pal Rogier in the Netherlands.  I don't take "Christina" or
"Mariah" vocal comparissons lightly, so I'm sure Lucie is the real deal. I do
need some more RAM so I can run all the new streaming media on Lucie's
site w/o constant interruptioni (its lack of memory rather than bandwidth).

Peace
