The Art of Peace Foundation is releasing the charity album Songs For Tibet via iTunes on August 5. "This album will focus people's attention on the importance of Tibet, the gifts of its culture, and the crisis the Tibetan people are facing today," explains Michael Wohl of the Washington, D.C.-based foundation. Sting, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, Jackson Browne, Vanessa Carlton and Dave Matthews are among the artists featured on Songs For Tibet. Proceeds from the album will go to support peace initiatives and Tibetan cultural preservation projects important to the Dalai Lama. The CD will be available in record stores beginning August 12.

yes, good news! I would have said that HoM would have been chosen cause of the mention of the dalai lama, but more than this is good too!
eager to hear it!!!

(funny that the song of ben harper has been recorded in six fours les plages for les voix du gaou! just near home!!)
"This night under stars, well, I call it peace"
"I walk the street with a song in my head"
