gotta sing tonight and my voice is kinda GONE :O

okay so my voice has been very hoarse since wednesday night i believe...i rested it til today (sunday) and its still a  bit hoarse....its better than it was before definitely!
I have been drinking tea with honey, many times a day.
Hot, steamy showers too!
and some meds for my throat pain. (given to me by the doc)

...now i think i can sing...but my sister and i wont win the talent show with the voice i have now!
Is there anything quick and easy that might help get my voice all the way back?? I have less than 10 hours :S

Hey, I think this advice is probably too late now, but when my voice would be hoarse I would normally either drink room temperature or warm water. Not smoking hot but very warm. Tea is actually acidic and I'd assume too much might actually do more bad than good. I would also eat things that coat your throat but aren't too residual, like maybe some pudding.

I doin't know if this would help but recently, in a chorus concert that my high school choir did, a lot of the girls were eating honey and I guess it helps you so.... you shuold try that.

I sang  well! We didn't win....but we only lost by ONE POINT!!!!!! :O :lol:
I dont know how, but by show time, my voice was much better!
Now it's back to being hoarse but it's worth it cause we got to sing!
