I be agreeing with you totally! Harpsichord and possibly a clavichord too. Most Bach works that are commonly played on piano today were originally written for the clavichord because the piano didn't exist in Bach's day.

I adore the harpsichord... Ahh... Instruments I'm obsessed with: cello, violin, harpsichord, guitar, piano, trumpet. All of which I'd love to be on MY next album. I'm sure Vanessa has easier access to recording w/ a harpsichord than I would

the song i'm working on called "Trapped" has a harpichord at the very end of it

A keyboard is an instrument much like a piano, except that the sound is made by plectra plucking the strings instead of a hammer striking them. There's a lovely scene in 'King Ralph' with John Goodman where he rocks out on a harpsichord.
