Did you catch her lack luster performance on the 2007 VMAs?

 It seemed like she had no energy and she barely danced.

For her sanity, I was hoping she'd made a good comeback. Oh well. What did you guys think?

just saw it... it was VERY lackluster. all she did was amble around in her bra and panties, lypsang (which is inevitable but she was so OBVIOUSLY lipsyncing... hardly moving her mouth), and grabbed a guy's crotch. nothing interesting. nothing exciting. she didn't even look like she was having fun.

very disappointing... or maybe not so disappointing.

omg it was awful, half the time she didn't even mouth the words. she did the dance moves automatically with no energy or passion -- almost as if she was just trying to REMEMBER them! i hated her wig/weave too. she looked bad.

how pathetic. the song isn't the worst she's done, i thought she probably had a chance, but damn, if that was her comeback performance, she's not going anywhere.

I love her. But I think the Britney we all know & love is gone. She seemed really shy or something during the performance. I feel so bad for her. But still, no matter what she's the only Britney and I don't think anyone can come close to being her. <3

I think she did it purposley. No one in her camp was going to let her walk out there performing & looking like that. It's just too much of a coincidence. I think she did bad to really get the ball rolling for her album and to keep people talking...I mean if she performed well, people would say "well okay, the old Britney is back" and it would end there. This way people will continue to speculate, talk and poke fun, thereby keeping her in the news & keeping steam for her album going strong...

Not only the performance was horrible, she didn't even look very appealing - except of her blue eyes - that was kinda freaky, liked it.  8O
