I filmed most of the songs (besides Carousel) but since it was livestreamed I don't see much of a point in uploading them. I might anyway tomorrow.

I too like the sweater.  I'm not digging the red lipstick lately though.  Just my opinion, not that she doesn't good, I just don't prefer it.  I hope people will share there experiences with meeting her! A few nessaholics where going right??

it was nice to meet ya, vaderdawsn!

the show was lovely. the crowd was amazingly quiet. and so many people bought the album after the show (to get the wristband to meet her). v seemed really relaxed, and ran a little more commentary than the last few times i've seen her. tonight's stand-out performance was definitely "fair-weather friends". and skye singing along unofficially to "i don't want to be a bride" was basically adorable.

and she's reaaaaally nice. i thanked her for answering my livestream session question while she was signing my booklet (and distracted her from correctly spelling my name, whoops, next time!) she says john lurie (of her walker in the window story) has not been seen again.

funny, first thing i said to her was "i love the red lipstick!" and she told me what shade it was and who makes it, but now i can't remember. damn. anyway, she was amazing! i thought the crowd kinda sucked (not rude at all, just less than enthusiastic) but i guess maybe it was the whole watching-a-show-in-the-middle-of-a-store kinda thing. she is just the most awesome girl ever. seriously. she really does appreciate those of us who are still around. she signed my cd "dear nicole, always comforting to see you, love vanessa" and when she handed it to me she said, "i really mean that." i thought i was gonna cry.

i went by myself and i was very lonely without my usual crew, but still had a great time. so worth it. that is all.

I like the part before she played Fairweather Friend where she said it was "about a letter". (: This was a really good performance. I loved Carousel.

It was a great show.  The audio in the store had VC's mic at a pretty loud volume (in a good way). It was a great performance and she was so nice.  She apologized for being late for her sound check. The show started pretty much on time.
How awesome was it that Skye was playing a kiddie xylophone!? I was swaying to the music like a typically find myself doing at a VC concert :-)

I was so thrilled to be able to tell her in person that I loved the song "Home" so much that I used lyrics from it in my wedding vows. I could tell she was flattered. I think she told me "that was sweet/great and/or cool" and congratulated me on my marriage (I wish I had a video-graphic memory for moments like this so I can remember word for word the exchange!)  I then told her that even though I am married, I *love* IDWBAB. She smiled and said it was good to hear for both sides:-) I thanked her and she thanked me back.

She was so nice. It put me at ease. I was so anxious. It was a great day. I am so glad I went.
