The NESSAholics Book Club
sarab:
so with Vanessa's latest tweet, we can add Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews (the books and movie). That is book one of a five part series. I LOVE V.C. ANDREWS. Those books are my guilty pleasure (well, the old series, I have not picked up a new series in years.) My favorite series is the Ruby (Landry) series. I collect V.C. Andrews books! I go to the goodwill every month to see if they have one I don't have yet, and I scope garage sales every summer.
I tried to attach of photo of my book case but it's too big of a file to fit.

I realize that this thread is a book club of what Vanessa has read, however, I started reading a book today that I think she should read and since I'm 80% sure she does read these threads I am coming here to suggest it (rather than Facebook or twitter that I'm pretty sure she doesn't read).
So Vanessa if you're reading this, you should read this book. I've only read the first 3.5 chapters but I immediately thought of you and what you said on your livestream a few months back about nature:
The Earth Path (grounding your spirit in the rhythms of nature) by Starhawk
lilwizardman_gelo:
Didn't she talk about a book The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp??? I'm pretty sure.
AG.:
Yeah she did. I finished reading it a few days ago, and whilst it's an interesting read for generating ideas and introducing new activities into your daily routine, it's not that 'compelling' as a complete read, but nice to dip in and out of if you're finding yourself a little thin on the ground for ideas.
Fred_Saboya:
some books can already be add to the list. the mytholgy ones, which i can't remember all the names and the ones she just tweeted.
she also said she's been reading psychedelic poetry, right? but she didn't mentioned any book.
