i didn't find her particularly nervous at all. only listening to the audio because i'm at work, though.

she comes off as really abrupt and cryptic sometimes, and a lot of the time i'm aware that if i weren't so steeped in NESSAholicism i wouldn't have any idea what she was saying. she doesn't transition between her half-explanations... so they all remain half-explanations. i have no idea whether or not this is on purpose. she kind of throws a partial thought at the audience, and if you've been around for a long time, you'd get what she was referencing and know much more of the story than she's mentioning. but she leaves out a hell of a lot of what would be reasonable explanation. she's also got really particular wording, and it's extremely charming and one of my favorite things about her, but it doesn't help in understanding her or in having a smooth show narration-wise.

I was thinking the same thing -- that the lay-person would not know what she was talking about!  It is charming though.

@fish_for_stars

I completely agree with what you said. Vanessa has such a particular way of phrasing, and you're right, it is so unique. I love her cryptic ways, as a NESSAholic, I kinda feel that I'm sorta in on a secret.

Yay, I'm glad to be able to see her outfit better. I love the dress and she looked super pretty! I especially love #4, she looks sooo happy.

Can someone please extract the audio? I'd really like to listen to the concert.

I think the quote of the show should be:

'Can you dim the lights a little bit, just like a brothel?'

Did she really say that?  :D Haha, didn't understand the second part of the sentence when I was listening to it.

Just a random thing, but didn't she say she had her tragus pierced on the left side? I didn't see anything when she put her hair behind her ear. xD

You know, I was thinking exactly the same thing and I couldn't see anything either, but I suppose it was pretty dark.

Really? How funny is that? :D Maybe you're right, but you know, her earring also did shine in the light and I think the piercing would as well.

Hi, guys! Was watching the live stream again and I thought if we can convert the whole thing and make it like an EP for us of some sorts. It would be something like 'Live from Webster Hall'. I got the inspiration form a http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/itunes-live-from-soho/id417036928.

anyone can help out? I dont know much about this kind of stuff, so I am hoping that some of you can help out!

Hey! Someone actually uploaded the extracted audio, so I ran it through GarageBand and split up the tracks awhile back. Hope this is alright: http://www.mediafire.com/?474vz79811h3a4h
