Wow !  A new song! wooo hooo.  I think she likes to debut new songs in venues where there isn't a lot of pressure (from her fans anyway).  Like the time she did Get Good in NC.  Most everyone was talking and loud so I think in a way that makes it easier for her if she doesn't get something 100%.  I can't wait to hear it!  I'm glad some people here got to go.

the new song is on the facebook group! the people were sooooooooooo loud, i can barely hear the song. it's a really short song, but really beautiful.
it just makes me so sad that people were so rude. :( well, people like these just don't deserve to hear vanessa.
but seriously... GO TALK IN HELL.

Wow, that is good stuff. (At the end of the video, I almost thought that V was going to apologize for singing hahaha)

Anyway, have you guys watched the CRIBS episode where V demoed something in her piano? I really think that the riff she sampled sounds really like the new song.

And I think the new song is somewhat a hybrid of Hand On Me and Fair-Weather Friend. It is like the marriage between the atmosphere between H&T and ROTR.

i can see how the song would easily translate into something electronica.  I don't think she'll ever stop doing acoustic performances though.

the song is really really lovely! shame about the noise but that cant be helped. My excitement for LP5 just kicked into high gear!
