My Vanessa Carlton Piano Instrumentals
Alex0821:
Hi, everyone! So I've been playing piano for about 18 years, and part of what I love about Vanessa Carlton is that her piano melodies are so beautiful yet easy to learn. So lately I've been recording a bunch of instrumentals of some of her songs. I'll link to them below in case anyone wants to listen! And if you have a request, let me know and I'll give it a try!
Ordinary Day - over 2,000 views!
White Houses - over 4,500 views!
Who's to Say - over 8,500 views!
Annie - over 2,500 views!
Private Radio - over 1,000 views!
Hands on Me - over 3,500 views!
My Best - probably my favorite; I added guitar, violin, and drums to this one. It's heavily inspired by this live performance.
The One
Heroes and Thieves - over 4,500 views! And watch someone's cover using my instrumental here.
This Time
Fools Like Me - over 1,000 views!
More Than This - over 1,500 views!

Hear the Bells
Dear California
Tall Tales for Spring
(David Bowie I Love You) Since I Was Six - okay I know it's not a Vanessa song :P but it's closer to her cover than it is to the original!
Nothing Where Something Used to Be - over 1,000 views!
Operator - over 1,500 views!
Willows - over 2,000 views!
Blue Pool - over 2,000 views!

Hey :)
I'd just like to say that I think your covers are absolutely wonderful, they really capture the strong piano lines, and I love the little accents you add into them. My personal favourite of yours is Dear California, it's one of the cleanest and brightest covers I've heard of the song.
If I could ask a favour, I'd be so grateful if you could tell me those notes of the right hand at the very end of the song, where she sings 'Won't you love me as I leave, California...'
I love My Best, I tried a cover with some string arrangements on Who's to Say, so I know that it's so hard to put all the different pieces together, but your cover is simply spectacular :) Great work!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that you took the time to listen to some of my covers.
Regarding Dear California: Those notes are E B G# B, E B G# B, E B E B E B E B (and repeat)
Hope that helps!
