It's impossible to say really. This it I.T. we're talking about here. Computers often go wrong when you'd really rather they didn't! Something might have gone really wrong and they're dealing with it. Who knows. Maybe they're just crap.

As far as I know yeah. They're all tied together so it makes sense that they would be. All the user accounts run off the same databases, so when you register for one you register for them all and can check your PMs from any of them. So I imagine they've taken down all the fullerene boards and are moving it all to new hosting.

For the billionth time .. sorry .. you've probably not asked before .. but people keep asking that same question .. I don't see why it would cause any changes to the site at all .. not to the look, functionality, post counts, posts .. anything like that. All they are doing is moving the files from one machine to another. All the posts, PMs, user accounts are simply held in one or more databases and so should remain the same!

Yeah. Well this is a proper bbs really. I believe it's an open source free one .. could be wrong. Made by phpBB anyway.

The fullerene boards just amaze me. I've written a couple of forums in the past and the fullerene ones .. well .. they're just written weird lol.

haha.....i wouldn't know whats weird.....these are the only two forums i've ever belonged to......i just like the fact that on the fullerene site, i dont have to jump from category to category....all the topics are in on spot...

Yeah. The categories thing is fairly standard in most bulletin boards these days, but I also like the simplicity of the vcmb.
