Current takes me out, what will be, will be. Floating on the sea, stars are watching me.

wow I don't know how I went so long without really giving Rufus a chance, but there hasn't been a day I haven't listened to his music in a few weeks now. And "Going to Another Town" is available on iTunes now. And I just bought "Want One" on sale for 7.99 from iTunes. He also has a track on the Meet the Robinsons soundtrack called "Another Believer." I've only really listened to his "Poses" album, and I love all the songs on there, especially Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk, Rebel Prince, California... and I love his remix of Across the Universe

Ah! I know. I have all of his albums, and every single song affects me in one way or another.

Going to a town is good too :D And i'm going to a bar next week, they're going to play his whole new album through. Should be fun.

btw. Tim, its quite weird but I was just on your last fm profile a few hours ago through a rufus wainwright google search. Strange :/

The lyrics are bothersome but the song is beautiful, especially the chorus. and in the end he makes a good point. this song sorta reminds me of California (Life is the longest death in california... oh man.)

I usually prefer his slow piano songs like "Poses" or "Dinner at Eight" he just has this warm masuline voice that goes perfect with them.
