I like multiple choice. Even though you may have to do a bit more studying on a broad level, for essay exams you just straight have to KNOW your material or you are pretty much screwed. If you have half a brain and know some of the material, you can logically pick the correct answer on a multiple choice question most of the time  :D

I prefer essay tests, because you have a chance to do better on them if you know what you're talking about.  :roll:

When you don't know the answer to a multiple choice test, you only have a 50-50 chance of getting it right. With an essay test, you might not bring up a specific point the instructor is hoping for, but you might add something which could replace it and still pass.  8)

Plus, I like to write.  :)

Just putting in my 50 cents worth (which is only about 34 cents after taxes)
