neri - i think you look awesome no matter - i love it when my hair is straight too - and it takes forever to do it!!! but you look smashing! you can really see layers - when it's curly you don't see those at all -

rosie - you are tooooooooo cute can't i just eat you up!!! I want to meet you and nerea so bad --- i cant wait to go to europe!!!

is it cold there yet? it's 40* F here today
brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks Steph! Yeah, it's a nightmare to straighten my hair! I never tyr and do it myself, I always ask some friend, but I don't do it too often cos it's a bit of a pain in the arse.

Rosie! True! You look so gorgeous! No wonder those English fittays are falling at your feet these days    *jealous*

Steph, right now it's about 20ºC here, which is weird cos it should be a huge lot colder since it's already Nov. October was very cold but this month is a bit crazy!

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone

Nerea, i know what you mean about straightening hair! i have really frizzy curly hair that i can't stand at all. have you tried using a flat iron? they work better than blow dryers, but if you use them too much (like me) then you'll fry the hell out of your hair. i like your curly hair more though, it's so pretty! i wish i had hair like yours or steph's  :(

i used to have to use a straightening iron everyday... but now that i have bangs, i just blow dry it and let it be less staight than usual. bangs change my hair completely. lol.

Have you heard of GHDs? People are OBSESSED with them here, in that picture someone had straightened my hair with them- they are ceramic irons that don't damage your hair nearly as much. The trouble is they are very expensive, in dollars about $130? But they are worth it, eeeeveryone has them now.

Yup, those are GHDs.

rosie they are around $100 here - they are popular for cronic straighteners- but compared to the metal ones at $14 - which i can't even straighten my long hair by myself because it takes like at least 3 extra arms - $100 is not do-able for me since i don't straighten it regularly...

but i love going to the salon and getting my hair colored and straightened...

before(lol) i always love pics with my hair straight so it's really hard to find a good pic of me online with my hair curly and down)

well if you can believe it my aunt straightened MY hair with one of those ceramic ones. Why I didn't take a picture I don't know. It was really weird to see me with straight hair. It took a really long time for her to do it.

for my bday my mom got me a really nice professional hair straightener, which cuts the time by more than half. I used to have a crappy flat iron i got at Wal Mart for $20, and it used to take two hours, but professional one only takes 40 minutes. it's worth it, even if you don't straighten that often. the key is to buy one that has a heat adjuster. Ones that don't have one usually have the lowest heat setting, and that's why it takes so long. :)
