Consignment Demo Store
« on: July 16, 2003, 10:50:22 am »
Has anyone come up with the idea of an online store for demos?  It could operate on consignment.  Maybe one could be made in the name of Vanessa Carlton.  I was thinking of starting a demo stand, when I had more money, here in Reno.  Perhaps during Hot August Nights or something.....just for starters.

No, but if someone wants to steal my idea go ahead.  I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it.......

If you do though I still might do it here in Reno by some different name for the stand.  If not a store online then perhaps a exchange......or something similiar.....

I won't steal it, why would I? It's your concept... and a good one, if it works out.

You aren't 30.. are you?

Maybe... you don't act young. Strange...
Been in Nevada, never to Reno. Acted as the archetypical tourist by stying in Vegas..... God, the biggest show I've ever seen; weird atmosphere as well.
Temperature must be must be nearing boiling point now, right ?

lol, I've lived in Nevada for 10 years and I have NEVER been to Las Vegas.  But it should only get about half the boiling point of water being that the boiling point is 212 degrees faranheit.  I doubt people could live comfortably in Vegas if it got that hot...
 :)

Well....... I have been to Death Valley, and the temperature was so incredibly high, you couldn't be out more than 10 minutes. It was about 46 C, which is ... hrumpgh, help me out here :)

I do believe 38 is about body temperature... 40 is about 100 degrees F.  46 would maybe be 110.  I know it gets very hot there.......it reaches 120+ F.
