actually we do that with every sport...they are all the "world champions"

im not offended...and anyone who gets offended, im actually pleased they are (thus meaning anyone who would be offended by that is probably a brainless testoserone overloaded gorilla who has two brain cells left, one holding a database of all sports knowledge ever, the other holding the key to remote control functionability)

Believe it or not, Toronto actually won the World Series in 1993 - they beat Philly in 6 games...so it is possible for a team outside the U.S. to win it all...
