Ok...this is probably a stupid idea, but I figured I might as well suggest it, cause no harm can come from that(I hope). Anyway, here goes:
The great thing for me about this board as compared to the VCMB is that there isnt just one huge forum index but is has this breakdown into the technical/vanessa/other issues and then further sub-catergories. I suppose the ultimate goal of this is to even out the spread of topics and threads evenly over different portions of the index so that no one place becomes overwhelmed and cluttered. And its working admirably, but theres just one more breakdown I want to suggest. The "completely off-topic" forum is obviously pretty broad and gets tons of replies. I was just looking in there, checking out what most of the topics were about, and lots of it seems to be people asking for advice. So I figure if you make a new forum under "other topics" thats for giving and getting advice on whatever the users' hearts desire we might get closer to a balanced forum scheme. Anyway, its probably way too late to start changing stuff like that or not worthwhile enough considering the ideas pretty mediocre at most. But like I said, I didn't think any harm could come from suggesting it...so there you have it! Thanks for hearing me out!
