Total ass? I don't think so. It's definitely a radio-friendly little track, but I can't say I don't like it. It's not very mature, but it is fun and catchy.

Just downloaded it.. I dunno, I think it's fun to listen to and it's really well-produced. very femininst too-- gave me a kelly clarkson vibe. but yea, I wish the lyrics were more mature.

I'm going to go out on a limb and be one of the few who likes the song.

It is catchy, and somewhat amusing. It fits in with the total crap which is on radio these days, which means it will probably be a huge success.

Hmmm...not of Hollaback girl but more or less like that song..."Hey Micky youre so pretty cant you understand..."...Dont know who actually sang that song... but some chick (Lolly?) sang it in the last decade...

but yeah the song isnt that bad... very much like "He wasn't" from her last album...

i dont think the song Girlfriend is obnoxious it is very cheerleadery but then again i think avril lavigne has pretty much seccured her creer an is jst havin fun an experimenting with her songs, any1 whos take the song "Girlfriend" seriously is a little doo lally lol i jst think its a fun song.

I didnt like it when i first heard it but i became terribly catchy and thts the materail of a good single lol

The only thing that Avril pleases me is her accent, she sings with her true canadian accent, but I hate her, I hate her music, so It means I don't have the chance to hear accent often, just when it plays at the radio and I'm far from it to press the next station....

i think it was meant ot be put in there to represent the girl she is singin bout, the lyrics at the time are "she's so stupid wat the hell were you thinkin" I think its meant to represent like the typical dizty blone if you no wat i mean lol
