when they say "walking home on foot"...and they have all those cars there, does that mean people are just leaving their cars and walking home??

there are some cars... but a whole lotta people rely on subways and those arent working now, so they have to walk home

I was like 'OMG OMG!!'
I was about to call 'my' people in the US but I wasn't home so I wasn't able to. But since cell phones aren't working...
I hope everything will go back to normal soon.
