I used to feel the same way. But, in spite of BMTL & using a demo of My Immortal, I now think that "Fallen" is their best work to date.

As for the video. My usual opinion on videos still stands :) Videos just suck. Always have, always will.

Good friend of mine lives in Corpus Christi, TX.
Ev is playing a concert there in just over a month.
Only TODAY did she finally hear Bring Me To Life for the first time on the radio. Only 4¼months behind the rest of the country. And that's their rock station. Pop stations get some breathing room, but there's no excuse for a rock station to wait that long.... especially when its the #2 single in the country. Were they hoping it would quietly go away?? HA! I think not!

*in The Rock voice*

Finally... Evanescence ... is coming to... The Rave! *is happy  :D* ... Sorry, I had to vent my joy somewhere, or my head might pop, and that'd be bad   lol.

And just to bring SOME civilness to my post, BMTL has won Kiss Kombat 4 straight nights, and tommrow hopefully will be 5 :).

And with some luck you'll get to meet the mighty Efanar too!

I heard their song the other day.  Her voice is very clear and i really like the tone of it.  the lyrics were good too.  However, overall it's a little too hard and heavy for my taste.

Depsite a strong challenge from Stagga Lee and his "Roll With MVP," Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" won Kiss Kombat 5 nights in a row and is now retired, and should get some play on the actual playlist  :D

and just for fun, these are the new R&R numbers for the week:

1   Linkin Park  Somewhere I Belong (Warner Bros.)   3202
2   Evanescence  Bring Me To Life (Wind-up)   3122
3   Audioslave  Like A Stone (Interscope/Epic)   2915
4   Red Hot Chili Peppers  Can't Stop (Warner Bros.)   2811
6   Trapt  Headstrong (Warner Bros.)   2560

Just for entertainment purposes, this is what The Rave has up for the concert information / preview:

Although the band’s name suggests a sudden disappearance, Evanescence is poised for longevity. Their beautifully brooding tracks My Immortal and the hit Bring Me to Life figure prominently in the recent blockbuster Daredevil, nicely complimenting the storyline’s dramatic, eerie undertones. But these songs just hint at their wide array of sensuous, bass-infested tracks that evoke pensive artists like Tori Amos. In a seriously successful endeavour, lead singer Amy Lee’s intoxicating vocals give the tunes a creepy spiritual tinge that their contemporaries lack, backed by ghostly echoes and ghoulish industrial effects. Don’t miss their first Milwaukee appearance on May 20!

The reason for that is because they had a date scheduled for Nashville, but the day before someone in the band got sick (not positive who) so it was rescheduled for 2 months later... which is this Saturday.

Hello, well last night I was up in the early hours of the moning watching Love Cruise haha and I noticed that Video Hits Uncut would be on.
So i changed the channel and the music program was just starting, guess what just happened to be the first song they played?
Bring me to life by Evan, WOO  :D
I was excited, its such a cool video clip and it was the 1st time I had ever seen it on Australian tv.
So im guessing its going to be big here, i hope so!
Definatly cool stuff.

I saw it for the first time over here yesterday too :)

While I was watching, they were playing the video on Kerrang TV (a viewer request rock channel) every 20 minutes or so on average. At that rate it should be number one on next weeks count :D Will be big here I think.
