Anyone else here like Holly Valance?



I know some of you are a bit critical of her, but I like a lot of her songs... "Naughty Girl" is still my favorite. It's just got a good vibe to it, and a good video too.

Yeah,

I even saw her live once at a free festival here in Leicester. I don't like any of her songs, but I thought she rocked in Neighbours  8) (She'll always be Flick in my eyes, lol)

P.S. If anybody doesn't understand what I mean by Neighbours or Flick, I guess it means you don't get that show in the states.

some artists just dont translate that well live. *cough*Avril*cough* but you can still enjoy their studio work.
And since we're neighborless in the states, I dont have that to base it off of.

NO NO NO! I can't believe you even made this thread, because she's not even a musician. She is appauling and exemplifies everything that is wrong with the music industry.

She cannot even sing Naughty Girl live (let alone anything else), which is how many notes? Oh ermmm, THREE! I must admit, Naughty Girl isn't a bad song- but that has no reflection on her whatsoever, because she had nothing to do with the creation of it.  She dresses up in short skirts and bikini tops and gets to number one that way- and you made a thread for her?

Yes I made a thread for her! She's not the only person to get to the top with bikini tops and short skirts. I'm sure you hate Britney too, oh well.

i havent heard her music.  but from the sound of peoples reactions to her and her descriptions, she sounds like another britney spears, lol.

Bad news for Holly :( she is being sued by her old manager for millions of dollars because she sacked him.
I really like Hollys personality and its not entirely her fault thats she has been in all of those "men's" magazines.
Apparently is was her old manager's fault because he wanted to "stick a fire cracker up the English butts and make them take notice of her". So she fired him.

Also it was Scott (ex manager) who organised the "Kiss Kiss" video and all of her other raunchy clips.

He just wanted to shock everyone by taking Holly's school girl image as Felicity and turn it into a sexy young woman.

You might remember Scott Michaelson from Neighbours he played Brad Willis

So yeh I like Holly, maybe not for her music but she seems ok.
Oh but I didnt like how she took a stab at Kim Valentine Grrrrrr!

Lol, Britney can actually sing though- Holly cannot. And i don't doubt that Holly's a nice girl, its just that she's a figurehead for a lot that i hate in the music industry.

Im just sticking up for her because shes Australian, but i think she can sing.
Its not the most powerful voice but its listenable.
