Everything will be ok Ghis!  I hope you have a blast in Cali, sorry your stay on the East coast sucked.  Next time you need to come to NY, but the party is really in upstate!  I'll take you cow tipping and everything!  Have a safe flight!

oh sure, i'll take you around to all my old haunts...the steps on the courthouse, the stone quarry, all the pastures...fun times in hicksville....

(but seriously, i've never been cow tipping, it's impossible because the cows hear you coming and they either (a) run away or (b)charge you and you get hurt because they really don't sleep standing up)

sorry we hijacked your thread for a bit Ghis, much love to you!

I think cow tipping is one of those things that everyone talks about, but nobody actually does.

and you forgot the park in front of the courthouse as one of those hangouts....i mean, only the cool people go there :-P (not really, it's where the drugees/drunkees hang out...which shows you the genious rate in norwich, seeing as how it's right by the police station)

Corn Mazes are the shit!  and what's a cow chip lottery?

Seriously!  I was in a corn maze in Washington State once.  We were driving to some outlets and I spotted a large sign that said "corn maze." I made my friends promise to go there after we finished shopping.  They agreed and we found ourselves running around the maze of maize (har-har) as the sun went down.  And even with maps, we still managed to get lost! A man from a tower had to direct us out.  Hee.

A cow chip lottery is:

When a big, well mown field is divvied up into little boxes that are clearly marked.  You pay money to pick a box in the field (they're all numbered) and then once everyone who is going to participate has picked a box and paid, a cow is sent into the field.  If it poops in your boxed section of the field, you win all the money - unless it's a fundraiser, then you win half of the money.  The "cow chip" is the cow poop!   :rainbowafro:

It's been more than okay...I know this because Ghisy just had the great pleasure of hanging out with MOI yesterday evening in NYC.  And he looked quite amused.  No one is bored when Freshlettuce is in the room - especially when Freshlettuce has a Long Island Iced Tea in her hand and she's asking you if you have any pets.

Hee.

Yes, you are full of random/interesting questions as well as full of little known facts.    :)

Duuudes, I'm in Cali!!!!!! WOOHOO!
Sorry I don't have an internet access all the time here but I'm doing my best (=luckily, my friend Crystal works at the hotel I'm staying at, hehe).
It's been fun so far.
We hung out the first night I was here, got some beer with a friend of hers (very cool guy).
Then last night, we went to a Beth Waters' gig in SF, it's too bad we didn't get to stay too late because it's a 2-hour drive from Sacramento to SF. But for those who know the story, I talked to Beth, everything went fine, we even hugged goodbye.
I think that's it, oh and tonight, we may go to a Halloween party!! Par-taaay duuuude!  :D
