lol...I went to the symphony with my grandfather...and the maestro or whatever was making a speech and said "I'm glad to see that so many young people have showed up and taken a break from their marilyn manson music for a moment to come appreciate classical music. Perhaps someday I'll repay you by taking a break from classical music to listen to some of her stuff." everyone laughed at him except my grandpa who was just confused....

sorry had to share..:D

It's funny...when I go to the symphony... about 60% of the people are under 25. I think lots of these people realize that some music is timeless. I mean.. all the crap hasn't survived through the ages. It's also interesting to study it and consider it part of the evolution of music.

We actually have a pretty decent symphony. I remember two years when they did Beethoven's 9th Symphony in D Minor, Op. 125 (Choral). 500 person choir for the fourth movement.... wow.

My grandma always mixes up everyone's names! She'd call me my mother's name, or my cousin's name, or call my mum her sister's name or even my dad's name! Gets pretty funny sometimes lol

My Grandmother does that too! I'm everyone from Sue, to Brenda, to Debbie, to Karen, to Patsy, to ESPECIALLY Cindy (me Mum), to Lucy, to Caroline, to Alyson, to Lesley, to Rosemary, to Theresa, to Laura, to Emily, to Cole Alec or Kyle, to - Ugh! (you're welcome for sharing). But it's soooo annoying! And that was just yesterday! And it's not ALL.
