I FINALLY can post my pic. of me, & Katy Rose now. I just had a chance to use a digital camera for the first time so I took a pic. of my picture with her, lol. It was taken at Wango Tango back in like May so I look really different now, & I was not ready at all for the pic. but anyhow, here is me, & Katy Rose:

Yea when I was watching her perform that day I noticed how skinny she looked, & was really surprised.

And thank you Manda that was sweet lol. Katy was really nice tho. I got an autograph from her to, but it melted from being outside for like 14 hours straight so I don't have that anymore  :oops: but I think getting a picture is way better than an autograph  :)

Has anyone heard of Katy Rose? She sings Overdrive and I Like. And she had the song Lemon in the movie Thirteen. Her CD is called Because I Can. Does anyone know if she is doing anything recently? If she's making a new album or anything? I really hope she does.
Also, do you know where I could find some of her unreleased songs?

I found her new album on a music blog... tis quite interesting. IMO, she's trying to hard to be deep and introspective and different and it doesn't work that well. But some of it is actually quite catchy.

Actually, I don't know if she's "trying too hard" - it could just be that some of the lyrics are very abstract, which can work well (which it does in most cases in her music), but I remember a few times where it was just didn't make any sense at all. Can't think of them off of the top of my head.

I'm not one to care about the lyrics of a song, though, so it doesn't matter.


Let me correct that - it appears that she's trying too hard. For all I know, it comes naturally to her.

I was JUST listening to her today wondering if she'd release another CD.  I remember reading awhile ago that she wasn't planning on it.  I loved her first CD so I'm interested to see what this will be like.
