That was (and still is) the plan.
The files leaked to the newsgroup are straight tape rips, not cleaned up or anything.
The good ones will be coming soon from Tricia & Andrew.
It wont be too much longer. You'll get a CD, you wont have to mess with SHNs or converting or any of that.

I am not gonna waste my time hosting these files... they will be up for 1 day at vc.ctgarcia.com then they will dissapear... I think the time and effort you put into this (and the others helping you) is greatly appreciated.  I was dissapointed as well when I found out.  I mean i was excited I got to hear the songs, but dissapointed that it didn't go down the way it was supposed to.  I still am eagerly awaiting my cleaned up version of the demo tape as its, from what I have heard, much better quality than this direct rip.

the reason that trish is mad, and which I come to find out from a couple sources is that they were spending a lot of time getting the actual recordings cleaned up to sound much better!  Then someone goes ahead and releases it to the public, with a note saying not to release it to the public (how friggin dumb is that).  Anyway... I understand with Trish, but I do believe that people should have the choice to download it from the Net or Get it from a Trade/Tape Tree.  Some people enjoy getting a real deal copy from the source and others would rather just listen to it on the computer.

These files will be up for about 24-48 hours... not 100% sure how long I am gonna keep em up.  I honestly wanna wait for the better quality versions and I actually have a note on the site saying that these ARE NOT the good quality versions that can be aquired from the trade tree.

now all I have to do is learn how to turn shn's to mp3's of wav's to put it on my cd and listen to it on the bus on Monday and learn the words.

I think Vanessa sounds like she's British in some of the sounds.
