The statement was directed at you... more towards general society (although, general society will fail to read my little nuggets of wisdom)--so don't get all bent out of shape.

Also, for those of you that don't celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, or any other holidays--would that little button being decorated for that holiday be offensive to you?  

If so: Grow up.  This world's got some God to honest battles that we fight every day, let's not worry about the cosmetic ones such as decorating a little button on a Vanessa Carlton website.

Oh - And the Christmas thing, it should have Santa holding the Christ Child in one arm, and then a menorah in the other hand. With snow in the background, of course. (I couldn't think of anything for Kwanza - I'll have to do research, being that SO many Americans celebrate it. On Disney, they do.)

lol, you guys are funny.  I think we will be doing the seasonal gifs... Joe and I were talking about it when he made the one we used for halloween.

I think we're going to open it up to all NESSAholics to submit the image... of course there will be size restrictions and content as well (Vanessa or something Vanessa related should be somewhere on it) and it'll have to mention NH.com.  I'll start something on it when we get a bit closer to Thanksgiving... probably 2 weeks prior we'll start it, then leave it up in the "holiday spirit" for 1 week or so.  So look for the start of this fun like, sometime this weekend
