So, this may seem like a silly question, but did V ever date John Mayer? My friend comes up to me yesterday and was like, "Vanessa Carlton dated John Mayer, did you know that?" and then she showed me an article...but i thought they never dated. Could someone please verify this for me? Thanks

I like his music, but I hate that bastard for breaking V's heart. Me and my friend (who is obsessed with John Mayer) always have fights because we argue over why John is/isn't an asshole.

It was longer than a week, I believe.

And I do have insight :

I believe that John was cheating on Vanessa, because about 4 days after Vanessa broke up with him, he was going out with Jennifer Love Hewitt. *strokes chin*....
