that definitely doesn't appear to be her intent anymore. But dont you think the songs she chose for singles were her most upbeat and fun songs (well unless maybe she chose unsung or paint it black). She definitely didn't release any of the edgier stuff off BnN, which saddened me a bit. But now I'm happy that she'll definitely be doing that with her "goth" outlook of late.
I somewhat I agree with you. Us true Vanessa fans saw that "Ordinary Day" and "A Thousand Miles" were some of her most upbeat songs. Although, the generel public doesn't realize that, they think her songs are all midtempo. Plus, "Unsung" sounds a lot different from most of her songs so people wouldn't get sick of her.
