yea. I wasn't toooooo put off by the length because I did prefer that they kept at true to the book as possible. But twd the end I felt it drag. *shrug*. I was still happy they didnt end it w/ Frodo and Sam on the rock. I so thought it was the end and I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I finally saw it on Christmas eve. Best film ever. I don't need to see any other film again. What's the point? Nothing will ever be as good.

I finally saw the first one thanks to Joe last week. I did see the second and just got back from the third. I liked the third one the best. It was really good. It totally didn't seem like three hours except when I needed to pee about the last half hour.

My brother also read the books Joe and he was telling us about all the other things that happened.

I am so glad that I didn't see them all until now. Waiting that long for the third would have killed me.

Sweet. According to theonering.net the extended version of ROTK has 55 minutes of extra scenes :-D

They're still going to wait until Novemeber to release it though. Why? There's nothing to hype anymore (that is, unless C is right).

I work with the string orchestra and we were playing May It Be from Lord Of the Rings such a chilling tune, I play piano in the string orchestra and help out with the arrangement.

I thought the movie was okay, I'm not a big fan of those fantasy movies or whatever.

I love Elijah Woods and Sean Astin so that made the movie great, I liked the casting and the scenery, which I think took place in New Zealand which is a very beautiful place.

I really like that song. Virtually the entire soundtrack is great really.

Maybe you're right Ghis. It's just a theonering.com rumour at the moment I think. They'll usually right, but it's not certain. I even heard 2 extra hours from somewhere. lol (we can hope!)

Definitely advisable. Without 1 and 2 (unless you've read the book) the last one will make no sense at all.
