why do you have a problem?

I work really hard on the gallery,i rarley find rare photos,so when I do,I just tag them so other people dont take them and say they found them.I never tag my pictures,these are the only pictures I tagged.Basically,I dont have access to a scanner much,It took me a while to get a hold of a scanner to scan that picture.I agree with you,Tags are very annoying,I don't tag my images because I know they are annoying,but once in a while i do tag the images that I find,never like across the image,but small in the corner.just please leave the tags.If i came off rude or anything i'm realllllllllly sorry,the gallery is basically for you guys.

If you really want me to take the tags off the black and white photos,I will,just because the gallery is pretty much for you guys,so if you really want me to ill put up the images tag free.

Geeze Scotty, why did you get rid of the tag? It's not like it's an annoying one that is distracting. It's not like you're using a picture in another graphic or something. You're simply taking a scan that she worked hard to make (she doesn't own a scanner) and taking away her credit for the work. You went out of your way to edit out the tag. What harm would it have done you to leave the tag in? Why did you take it out to begin with?

Well Will I think your missing the point why I took the tags away...
I took them away so that they are ready to be used graphically right away. Not to be viewed. Not everyone knows how to remove tags without cropping or blurring the picture.

most imagesites and graphic artists compromise with a border with their tag on it because it does not obstruct the picture in anyway

ok sure give someone credit for finding a pic but tagging the pic is a credit for owning the pic. I would have posted it with tags if the tags did not obstruct the picture in ANYWAY and it doesnt matter if it's a couple of pixels, the point is, you don't own the right to the pic, no matter how hard you worked to find it.

and yes will, I have used all of these pics in graphics already.

I have given you a compromise, if people use your pics else where your tag will show, and people can use them for graphics quite easily.

It's just a personal thing with sites that I have with tagging.

I am a graphics artist before I like to view images.

I apologise I should have given you credit for finding the pictures, but I was
annoyed on the tagging, because I took it as a dis to people like me who
like to design stuff. Im always getting asked to de-tag stuff for other graphic
ppl just so they can make something, and even tho that in itself is illegal. So is tagging.
So my compromise should make you more popular with graphic folk.

Even if she didnt photograph Vanessa, if you did find the pictures at her site, you should credit her! And if you didn't then I guess it's ok :lol: Are they press? :oops:

edit to say: in the end I tried not to tag press photos because that gets you in more trouble.

edit to say: in the end I tried not to tag press photos because that gets you in more trouble.

I explained all above If you think about it, if the right people knew, you would get in to trouble for all ur pics you have not taken urself.

if she does, there goes all pictures, see thats why i took mine off! My host was being threatened by photo agencies for the second time (my host is fan-sites.org) imagine if they actually shut them down? fan-sites hosts TONS of fansites, so there goes ALL pics!

thats because photo agencies sell these kinds of photos to newspapers, magazines etc for money and if you can get it on your site for free your stopping them getting money.
