She was absolutly AMAZING! When I saw her arrive on the Red carpet I was so pleased on how well she looked.
She was nice enough to sign autographs and talk to her fans when she got out of her Limo with her Mum, Dad and Trent.
Where Aaron and I were at the Aria's we had a clear view of Delta and could see everything that she was doing in the night.
Her speeches were so emotional and she really held herself together.
Darren Hayes of Savage Garden did a tribute to Delta by singing Lost Without you, it was good.
And she clearly felt the love because she cried.
Delta didnt get up to recieve her awards from Video Hits but she did for every single other one.
It was the Delta show and the host of the Aria's Rove McManus was so good with her, he would go down and have a joke with her to make her feel more comfortable.
On one occassion he "found" a list beside her chair and sat next to her, the list read something like 1. Release album
2. Win Aria awards
3. Win Nobel peace prize
4. Kill all humans
LOL i think thats how it went.
Im so glad and honored that I got to see Delta win her first ever Aria awards and see her in person again.
She truely is a wonderful, caring, unselfish young woman.
Thats why we all love her.
She also tried to hook her brother up with Hilary Duff LOL.
Just goes to show that with all thats going on she can still have a good joke.
